United Wisconsin Grain Producers (UWGP)
Brownfield's Development
Town of Randolph, Wisconsin
In 2003, the UWGP sought to construct an ethanol plant within the small and willing community of
Freisland, Wisconsin. To attract the ethanol facility, the Town of Randolph (Village of Freisland)
was required to supply the high demand of water. KEY was called upon to research available grants to
assist the Village. KEY was successful in assisting the Town of Freisland with a grant to install a
water tower to feed an ethanol plant. The grant amount was $250,000.
